3d artwork with photoshop or illustrator .?

Hello i am a digital artist who has became interested in 3d modeling and rendering. However i am short on money and cannot upgrade my computer for doing very alberate works. As you see i downloaded blender and the more detailed the model gets the slower my computer runs.

The best i can do with blender is something out of a Nintendo 64 game with if i can figure out textures or meshes (i'm not sure what they are called) That just be fine.

But the main reason i am asking this is there anyway to mimic 3d artwork with Photoshop or illustrator ?

Illustrator has a mesh tool that you can customize. It can give you some impressive looking stuff if you have the patience.

Photoshop basically can do anything, you just have to be fluent in lighting and color manipulation.

photoshop of any version is not a program one can explain to you in a 3 or four second response to your query.

hopefully (pretty hard to believe you plunked down the 800-1K for the program without knowing a little bit about it) you got the program from a legitimate source and have the manual to guide you and as stated there are many sources on the net to help you along.

ok so i recently got photoshop and i need a little help. ive seen alot of people with pictures that are like all grayscale and then the red that's in the picture is still red. so it's like grayscale and red. can someone please help??

Go to the menu bar and go to

Layers

New Adjustment Layer

Hue/Saturation

OK

Change the saturation to -100

Click the paintbrush tool

Adjust the opacity to what you want (100% Returns the full color)

Then just paint the areas where you want color
